 Brief Season 1


Kidsopedia is the Youtube channel that was created with the theme of exploration and teleportation through an educational journey targeting children aged 10 to 12 years old. We choose this theme because children at this age seem to like to explore more on what they have come across during their formal education systems. The content of this channel includes language, history, science, technology, art and craft as well as religion. 

In the first episode, we precisely include the element of language and activity that is engaging the audience. The first episode had been launched on 18th November 2020. The second episode includes the element of science and geography where we introduced animals that have become extinct from earth. By giving this kind of knowledge, it can increase children's awareness and values in loving the animal. This episode was uploaded on 27th November 2020. On 1st December 2020, the third episode had been launched in which it includes the element of science and experiment. It is on natural disasters such as tornadoes and volcano eruptions. It also includes Islamic perspective on the two mentioned natural disasters as well as experiments that can benefit the children and parents. A practical way of learning can help the children to grasp the knowledge faster. Followed by the fourth episode, which was uploaded on 7th December 2020. The content is focused on the element of art and craft. The video takes the children on a journey to explore the traditional “batik” that is popular in Malaysia and Indonesia. The fifth episode is about dates that are known as sunnah food. In this episode we aim to promote the benefit of consuming dates in our daily life to the children as it can increase children's capability in cognitive development. It was posted on 12th December 2020. Lastly, by having the concept of exploring the beauty of outer space, the last episode introduces children to the exciting things that happened in the space. This episode aired on 22nd December 2020, and marked our last episode of the season 1.
