Impact Analysis

 

The objective of Kidsopedia Youtube Channel is to produce educational and entertaining videos for  children and parents to enjoy their time together. This channel provides many informative and beneficial content such as languages, sciences, arts, foods and many more. Furthermore, this channel has received 20 subscribers that are surely waiting for further updates on future videos.

Besides, four of our videos received comments from the audience. Episode 1 has received the most comments from the audience, sharing their curiosity on what will happen in the next episode as well as complimenting the contents and videos. Same goes to episode 2, and episode 3. However, episode 4 was set to be a kids content, thus, no comments allowed.
Based on the comment from all episodes, it can be seen that this Youtube Channel was well received by the audience or viewers, even the subscribers or non-subscribers.

Moreover, Kidsopedia received lots of positive comments from the viewers as well as their hype and their intention to wait for the next episodes. In Episode 1, some of the viewers voice out their curiosity of the mystery behind the videos as well as complimented the video as “Interesting”. Also, there are comments that admit the video gives “a nice learning lesson”. Since Episode 1 has the highest number of viewers and comments, it can be concluded that it is more engaging compared to the other videos.

Kidsopedia also tries to give informative yet interesting content so that the viewers can gain benefit from them. The second episode shares about the ice age era and extinction. From this episode viewers can learn to value animals that are endangered and already extinct from the earth! This video received comments from two educators;

Mrs. Murshidah Mazlan; headmaster of Al-Amin Kids Centre, Nilai : She found out that this video is interesting and shared the videos to her students.

Mrs Kamariah Sidek; teacher. She shared this video to her children and gave positive feedback that her children loved to watch this channel. Through the video and content it shows that the viewers can grasp the knowledge delivered from that episode.



This episode shows the development journey of “Asian Batik” and also teaches on how to create batik. Kidsopedia not only provides informative learning, but also shares creative arts and crafts! Learning about other cultures and its people will make us understand our society better. We also will love our culture, society, and country.

Some also say that these “Batik” videos reminisce about their childhood memories as Asian kids who usually learn how to colour batik.

SWOT Analysis

 Strengths 1. The use of animation and short clips from the movies to attract attention and audiences’ interest to watch the videos. 2. Attract the kids to learn something around them in a creative, fun and challenging atmosphere. 3. Able to improve kids’ interest in educational and entertaining knowledge, with Islamic values being inclusive at the same time. 4. Emphasizes both theoretical and practical knowledge. Weaknesses 1. The duration of the videos is too short for the children to understand properly about the topic that has been discussed, thus we did not go in-depth.  2. The content might only be understood by kids who are well-versed in English language.  Opportunities 1.
